1923 South Africa Shilling, .800, .2909 oz. Actual Silver Weight

This is one of about a dozen auctions closing at about the same time. Many of the coins are SILVER and range from .100 (10%) to .925 (92 1/2% or Sterling Silver), and all begin at 99 cents with NO RESERVE and FREE SHIPPING. I've also put the Actual Silver Weight (ASW) in the title when there was room. Multiply the weight times the current silver value, but also check the collector value by consulting your World Coin Catalog or by looking at how much the same coin sold for on eBay, and then make your best bid. Please note that many bidders place their bid at the last second or so by using a "snipe" bidding service. (Ask me how this works.) Also, I DO NOT close auctions early, so please don't even ask.
I stopped setting up at coin shows about 20 years ago and still had a lot of coins to put into storage when we moved to Africa. Many of these coins have toned considerably since then. Most of the coins are in my old holders which have seriously out-of-date prices, so don't get worried that you might have paid too much when your coin(s) arrive since many prices have gone up in the last 20 years.
