SOUTH AFRICA RESIDENTS should look into Postbox Courier service as it provides a USA address and you'd get FREE shipping from me to the PBC address in New York.
You would then have to pay PBC to forward the items but it is very cost effective, especially if you get several items. PBC allows you to combine parcels from different sellers into one shipment!  When you use POSTBOX COURIER then
YOU would set the value on the customs forms
because on my end I would be sending to a USA address which doesn’t require a customs form. A friend of mine in South Africa has been using them for 2 years with great results. I think it is expensive to get just one item, but if you get 4 to 10 coins it's usually total.  This makes it very cost effective and very safe with courier delivery.
International Shipping (if offered):   The buyer is responsible for any customs taxes or importation fees, tarrifs, etc , if any.
Since POST BOX COURIER isn't considered an international shipment on my end, I don't fill out any customs form and don't put values on shipments going to a Post Box Courier US address - this is something the buyer handles with PBC.
On international shipping, the buyer is responsible for items lost in the mail. Please be very patient with international shipping as this has to clear customs in two different countries. Allow at least 4 weeks for delivery and realize that it may take even longer than that to reach you.
International Shipping:   The buyer is responsible for any customs taxes or importation fees, tarrifs, etc , if any. I
Shipping: If you are getting more than one item then
    Please
use the shopping cart and send only one payment to save money on shipping. Provided that you only send one payment we do combine shipping and only charge actual postage and for packaging materials.
International shipping: Buyer assumes all risks if the package is lost in the mail. We do not ship to Italy, Israel, Russia, or Ukraine due to the number of packages that get 'lost' in the mail.
International orders:  Tariffs & Import tax policy: The buyer is responsible for all taxes, tariffs, customs and import fees, if any. The value of the coin must be on all paperwork including the customs forms for insurance purpose and to stay within the bounds of the law.
