2003-04 Kansas University KU Jayhawks Team Autographed Basketball Self's 1st Yr.

Description

Take a look at this autographed Kansas University KU Jayhawk Basketball that I just found in a local estate.  Based on the signatures on the ball, it appears to come from Bill Self’s very first season with the university in the 2003-04 season after Roy Williams went back to North Carolina.  Some of the names I THINK I recognize on the ball (but you will need to look at the photos to judge for yourself) are:

The ball was found in the estate still in a cube-shaped clear plastic protective holder, but due to my own clumsiness the cube was damaged beyond repair (and it is not included in the sale – sorry about that).
There are some places on the ball where it touched the plastic cube and the brown leatherette covering on the ball came off a bit (see photo near the air hole for one example).
I don’t believe it affects display of the ball, but I wanted to mention it.
Anyway, what a neat piece of KU basketball history – Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
