Up for auction is thisBahamas Government .00 Banknote, Series 1965.
The note was printed by Thomas de la Rue & Company of London, under the 1965 Currency Note Act.
The note measures 67 millimeters high
x 156 millimeters wide, is printed on cotton fiber paper and carries the (Queen Conch) Shellfish Watermark to the right of the note.
There is also an embedded fiber strand slightly to the left of center of the note, it runs vertically thru the Serial Number of the note to act as anti-counterfeit deterrent.
This note is Pic #19a, in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money.

This note features a young Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse of the banknote and the beach on Paradise Island as the main vignette on the reverse.
The reverse also includes at the far left the Yellow Elder, the National Flower of the Bahamas and the National Shield to the far right.
This note has lovely vivid color, strong embossing, excellent centering, natural paper wave and sharp corners all around.
I see no visible bends, folds or creases in the note.
I would grade this note as Choice Uncirculated.
