    Description

Presented here is a great old San Jose "Kissing Birds" style bit with engraving and style which strongly suggest it was made by the one of the Hernandez. Research suggests there were 5 Hernandez who made bits and spurs which were sold through various retailers such as Visalia, Main and Winchester, F.M. Stern and L.D. Stone. They were rarely marked. This is a nice old half breed bit for your collection.
MAKER: Unmarked, but attributed to Hernandez.
APPROX AGE: Circa late 1800s to early 1900s.
SIZE: It has a 4-3/4 inch mouth piece. Over all it measures 6-3/4 inches.
CONDITION: Good for its age, some wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
This is an awesome and collectible old bit that would go perfect in your collection!
Remember, we take returns for 30 days (just in case you are not satisfied in any way) We stand behind what we sell and want you to be happy!
