August Buermann Bit and Horse Hair Bridal - Pat. date on Bit is Dec. 28, 1886 - The set is complete with one piece reins - Selling for a friend - came from the Shell Valley Ranch in Wyoming. Bit is appx 4 3/4 inches inside and appx 6 3/4 long - has original Buermann chains and rings - The sides of the bit are in the shape of lady/gal/saloon or dance hall girl legs - This piece is in quite good condition and shows well - don't know what metal it is - showing a bit of rust/wear in spots - Vintage/Antique for sure - I'm repeating what has been told to me - I'm not too familiar with horse accessories - for addl info my continfo3038412280
