ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR BRASS TRUNK LOCK JOHNSON OF ILLINOIS

Description

I purchased this civil war brass lock from an antique dealer friend back in 1998 and was told it was from a civil war trunk owned by "Johnson" from Illinois.  It has a lovely patina and I have not polished it nor done anything to it.  I am also listing two other civil war items purchased at the same time (see final photo for details).
I do my best to describe each item I am listing - I am not a professional so please refer to the pictures and ask any questions!
