    Description

    Very old and large horse bit.  Measures 12" end to end. The mouthpiece is approximately 5/8" in diameter and 6 1/4" long.  Appears to be hand forged just judging by the uniform dimpling around the entire bit, including the "knob" ends.  It has surface rust and the rings are not perfectly round.
