    This is very well made Horse Riding Bit with Fairly Short Shanks
    This bit would date from the late 1800's
    It is in very nice condition 6 1/4" tall Mouth is 5"  Shanks are 3 1/2"
    We did not find a makers mark but feel sure it would be a North and Judd or Buermann
    This is a well used bit and would be a great item to display or use
