    Black Diamond Coal Mining Stock Certificate - Anaconda, MT - Nice Artwork (Rare).
    This stock certificate is blank, which allows you to fill in anyone's name and amount of shares. It was printed between 1902-1909.
    Very good condition. No tears, markings or stains. 11" x 8.25".  Excellent etchings of miners at work.
    The Black Diamond Coal Mining Company was incorporated in Montana in 1902. The company mined coal in California, Oregon, and Washington from 1861-1904. I can find no evidence online that they actually mined coal in Montana, or even sold stock, which makes this certificate quite rare and unusual.
