In a coaching career that spanned six decades, Coach Knight, nicknamed “The General,” became a coaching legend. Retiring with a record 902 NCAA Division I wins. Best known as the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers, Knights teams won three NCAA National Titles (1978, 1981 and 1987) and made five NCAA Final Four appearances. Coach Knight was named the Naismith College Coach of the Year in 1987, the AP Coach of the Year three times (1975, 1976 and 1989) and was the Big Ten Coach of the Year eight times! He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1991 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. This is a fantastic item for any basketball fan!
