The Camp Bird Extension Mining Company owned mines at Ouray, Colorado in Ouray County, in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. Company mines were located adjacent to the famous Camp Bird Mine, one of the largest and most productive gold mines in the world, and the second largest in Colorado. The mines were near the former mining camp of Sneffels, southwest of Ouray near the Imogene Basin.
