    This auction is for an older metal horse bit - chrome plated
    Marked along one of the snaffle mouth pieces with an R within a horseshoe symbol - Crockett Renalde marking
    Highly unusual snaffle bit with fixed headstall slot and rein rollers
    Unfortunately there is heavy wear to chrome plating - chipping to finish and rust present
    I have found no cracks, breaks or mends
    Mouth piece measures roughly 5¼ inches
    Bit weighs 13.4 ounces
    Headstall slot opening a little under 1 inch
    Rein ring roller slots measure a little over 1 inch
