    This is a rare Monday evening, November 2nd, 1868 broadside (single page playbill) from the one-night, benefit engagement of the WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE tragedy "OTHELLO" at the Boston Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts ..... The play starred the legendary EDWIN BOOTH
    as "Othello"

The program notes that on the following night, EDWIN BOOTH would appear as "MACBETH" with FANNY JANAUSCHEK as "Lady Macbeth"
