    Genesee Lager 23" x 17" Genesee Brewing Co. Inc. Rochester, NY.  This is an awesome piece of history.  I got it from a friend who lived in Rochester, New York.  He claims he got this from his grandfather who found it washed ashore after a shipwreck on Lake Ontario in the very early 1900's.  I have no idea if this is true.  What I do know is that the Gennesee Brewing Company took their name in 1879 and by 1910 had switched to all stainless steel barrels so it definitely is from that time period.  Other than that, who knows.  It is certainly a fabulous piece!  Local pickup only as this weighs about 70 lbs.
