Replace for your crumbling Lionel Prewar 38 Locomotive harness. Custom replacement kit with cab disconnect . All new period correct 18 gauge solid core cloth wrapped vinyl insulated wire.
Kit includes cab harness with disconnect for removing it completely from frame for easily working on motor. Pickup shoe wire, both motor brush wires and new field wire extension. If you would like to try and save your existing field wire extension I have included a piece of empty vinyl insulation. Installation tip: first remove dry rotted field winding insulation by rolling between fingers and straighten exposed wire. To insert into provided vinyl insulation, hold exposed wire closely to the feeding end and gently screw on the insulation.
