    Description

    For use with many brands of outboard motor pivot steering cable tubes to keep water out.
    If water spray gets on steering cable end slide, it can work its way into the pivot tube on the motor clamp brackets, then into the steering cable core.  Then it will rust the cable internally till it will bind up and be very hard steering.
    Fits on opposite end of the large cable nut that fastens to the tube.
    First lube the cable with light grease, then install the plastic seal nut, over the steering cable shaft that protrudes out the other side of the tube from the cable.
