Mint! Weller Pottery Marvo Mission Arts &Crafts Mid 1920s Green Foliage 9" Vase

Description

Here is an excellent example of Weller Pottery's Marvo line decorated with foliage in raised relief.  The line was produced from the mid-1920s until 1933, and this piece has the black ink "jug" maker's mark on the bottom, used by Weller in the 1920s.  It is 9" tall with a 2.25" rim opening and a slightly flared base.  The glaze is a very dark green on the base, and a lighter green on the raised foliage.
Condition:  Factory mint, but made with one 1/8" round glaze pop on the body (see photos #1 and #11), a smaller black pin-prick pop on the rim (photos #8 and #10), and a slight (1/8") indent or dip in the rim. The dip is about .5" long (photos #8-9).  Fine faint crazing seen under magnification.
