Incorporated under the laws of the Territory of Utah. This cancelled stock certificate is issued for 100 shares of stock and issued on July 20, 1881. 7"  X 14 1/2" (stub attached). Complete stub is attached and in very good condition.
Suitable for framing or just to collect as a piece of early American mining history. These mines were located in Butte Montana. William A. Clark who became one of the three "Copper Kings" of Butte Montana along with Marcus Daly and F. Augustus Heinze. Clark also served as president of both Montana state constitutional conventions in 1884 and 1889. He later became a U.S. Senator.
