    Description

    Available for your purchase is a nice handmade Eduardo Grijalva spade bit. Both shanks feature detailed engraved inlays as well as
    conchos
    and silver dots.  The spade also has a copper roller and the braces are wrapped in copper wire. It has the original rein chains. Eduardo Grijalva was a well-known bit and spur maker from Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico who passed away in 1994. His family descendants carry on the
    Grijalva
    bit and spur making tradition, marking them with the EG* hallmark, to this day. Here is your chance to own one of the ORIGINAL EG* bits!
    MAKER: Hallmarked EG* and Mexico. Eduardo Grijalva, (1914-1994).
    APPROX AGE:  Stamped 7.31.76 on the left cheek.
    SIZE: The mouth measures 5 inches wide, and the shank is 8 inches long overall.
    CONDITION: Very good for its age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
