Description
OF THEE I SING, Playbill type program, 02/29/32, Music Box Theatre, NYC. The Pulitzer Award winning musical (the first of only nine musicals to ever do so) opened in NYC on 12/26/31 and ran for 441 performances. The cast includes William Gaxton, Lois Moran, Victor Moore, Grace Brinkley, June O'Dea, Dudley Clements, Edward H. Robins, Florenz Ames, George Murphy, George E. Mack, Ralph Riggs, Sam Mann, Harold Moffet, Tom Draak, Sulo Hevonpaa, Leslie Bingham and Martin Leroy. Music by George Gershwin, lyrics by Ira Gershwin and book by George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind. Directed by George S. Kaufman and choreographed by Georgie Hale. The program is complete.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
