    Retired Gist Classic Equine German Silver Berry Crescent Correction Mouth Bit
    This is a beautiful pre owned stainless steel
    correction bit with gorgeous engraved German Silver crescent shaped "S" cheeks and berry trim manufactured by Classic Equine under license from Gist Silversmiths.
    The close up photos show the fabulous quality of the engraving on the stunning crescent moon "S" shanks and the awesome berry trim on the crescents.
    There is black enamel around the berries, however, some has worn off from use.  The sweet iron correction mouthpiece is lightly rusted and has copper inlays to encourage salivation and lightness.  The hinges at the mouthpiece are a little stiff which is typical of some Gist bits, but are moveable.
    This particular cheek design is now retired and no longer available from Classic Equine.  The 'S" shanks measure 6-1/2 inches in length with a 3 inch purchase for a 2.16 to 1 leverage ratio.  The 2 inch tall by 1-5/8 wide hinged correction Port mouthpiece is 5-1/4 inches wide.  The cheeks feature engraved German Silver Nickel overlay.
    This is a very nice quality bit with beautiful engraving, great balance, and attention to details.  This bit is made by Classic Equine Equibrand Designs under license and designed by Gary Gist Engravers.
    This is a great addition to your bit collection and will look great in any show ring setting.
