    Description

    Schlitz Hotel china dinner plate, Pleiss & Heck (P & H) Proprietors Milwaukee, WI.  Pre-prohibition era dinner plate from the Schlitz Hotel in Milwaukee, WI.  Located at Grand Avenue & 3rd St.  Measures approximately 10 inches by 6 3/4 inches.  There is a chip at the very top of the plate near the letters "I & T".  Very good shape for its age.  Manufactured by the Greenwood China Company of Trenton, New Jersey which closed in 1929.  The hotel closed in 1921 and the building was torn down in 1964.
