    Description

    This is a rare November 26th, 1928 broadside (single page playbill) from the National Tour engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical romance "MY MARYLAND"
    at the Majestic Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. (The Original Broadway production opened September 12th, 1927 at Jolson's Theatre in New York City and ran for 312 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The operetta starred RUTH URBAN as "Barbara Fritchie" and the cast included MADELINE McMAHON, LUCETTE PARKER, MAUDE RAYMOND, HOWARD QUIGLEY, LUCY LAWLOR, ROLLIN GRIMES, PHILIP SNYDER, ALEXANDER CLARK, PETER LANG, JOHN ADAIR, ALEXANDER CALLAM, LUCIUS HENDERSON, FRANK McGLYNN, Jr., SOPHIE EVERETT, JOHN WHEELER, THURLEW BERGEN and THOMAS CALVIN ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing and minor edge wear, this rare broadside is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
