Description
Team Signed Basketball 1994-1995 UCLA BRUINS including signature from coach Jim Harrick. This item was won by my husband in a raffle during the 1994-95 Final Four tournament that UCLA went on the win and become National Champions that year. The ball bears the words Final Four on either side of gold-leafed NCAA. It is a Rawlings ball.It has been sitting on display in his closet since then. There are no windows in the closet and this ball has remained in the original Plexiglas box it came it. It has not been touched except to recently photograph it for sale-and no signed areas were touched to do so.
At the time of his win, several other game-watchers offered to buy the ball for a good deal of money, but a life-long UCLA basketball and football fan, he wasn't interested. Due to a rare and incurable spine disease, we are parting with this collectible piece of history to help with medical costs. After reaching out to the UCLA Alumni museum to ask their opinion of value, they were unable to provide one, citing that it is "priceless."
We have reviewed all the signatures on the ball ensuring each member of that team (see below) is represented, as well as coach Jim Harrick. It appears that its likely that Cameron Dollar signed just over the signature of George Zidek. You can see George's signature "G" he is known for at that time. See photo. In addition there is a small area on the side of the ball where it had been in one position up against the Plexiglas for many years without moving- when we picked up the box it came free and that area shows a shadow, you can see it to the right of the Toby Bailey signature. It does not effect the signatures in any way. We are just trying to share all the info we can.
