    United Copper Company was a holding company for various companies and mines, real estate, mills/smelters (vignette of Montana Ore Purchasing Smelter in Meaderville area of Butte on bottom of document) in several US States and Canada. The company was controlled by Frederick "Fritz" Augustus Heinze, the Butte Montana Copper King. In early 1906, the company sold the majority of its Butte Montana holdings to Amalgamated Copper (later Anaconda Copper) to end the War of the Copper Kings.
