Vintage Ceramic Fox! Hand Painted 1977 Woodland Figurine, Large 14" Art Pottery

What a beautiful 44 year old figurine of a large solitary fox, in the woods on a tree branch, with moss and fern under his feet! No damage, no breaks, cracks, chips, repairs, stains, not even a rough edge. His condition is really exceptional, meaning I am surprised as a dealer to find any item this age in this condition. He has no issues besides a few teeny tiny paint flecks here and there. He sits flat and even and is in really remarkable shape!
A generous 14" wide, 11" high and 11" deep, this was probably a mold in one of those ceramics classes that was hand painted by a member, who did a very nice job and used realistic colors. It's a matte finish with no glossy glaze, and the 'ting" sounds almost like bisque porcelain. It's lightweight ceramic and not heavy stoneware or pottery. There is only one mark on bottom, a hand engraved "1977".
