    Description

    Vintage horse bit with a "busy" mouth piece - similar items are listed as Spanish Colonial Style
    High rounded port having two crickets or rollers and then both sides of the mouth also have rollers
    Hinged shanks
    Rein rings
    Chain slobber
    Chain curb included
    Design on outer shank around hinge for mouth piece and below this hinge, see images
    Much of the plating has worn away and is chipped leaving surface rust
    One curb clip is open - see images
    I have found no manufacturer markings
    This item weighs 14.5 ounces - prior to packaging
    The mouth is approximately 4 3/4 inches (shank to shank)
    Top of shank to bottom of shank, straight and not including rein hardware is approximately 6 1/4 inches
    I have not tried to clean, oil or alter this bit in any way
