Vintage Pair of Iron Horse Bits Unique Construction Western Decor Steampunk

For your consideration is this Vintage Pair of Iron Horse Bits of Unique Construction.
These bits are undamaged, but have the ubiquitous light layer of rust.
One bit is pretty general with the twisted iron bit piece, the second one is very unique, it is constructed of articulated metal links and actually have sharp pointed tips on the portion which would be in the horse's mouth.  The only thing I can surmise is that this is a training bit for a difficult horse, no matter what is it very interesting and bound to draw attention and conversation.
