Listed here is the vintage Waterman Stalwart from the 1950s. This model is somewhat of a difficult one to identify because of the minor design differences in US and Canadian models. For instance this pen has no lever box and it has two cap bands whereas the US version has as lever box and the singular cap band. This pen has manufacturer's imprints on both cap and barrel. What I think makes this a nice pen for collection and use is the amazing condition and the easily flexible 14K nib. This model retailed for .50. Good Luck!

AP and BARREL
This cap is in EXCELLENT condition with NO cracks, scratches, and/or chips. The gold-filled trim is very clean. There is no easily discernible brassing. This pen probably did not see a lot of use.
The barrel is in EXCELLENT condition. The imprints are well preserved and easily legible.
FLEXIBLE WATERMAN 14K GOLD NIB
This Waterman Stalwart features its original 2A Canadian made 14K nib. It is nice and flexible. Not super-flex but there is no mistaking the flexibility. The tines are perfectly aligned and the nib is oriented properly on the ebonite feed. The nib is nice and smooth with optimal flow for vellum paper. I used it on 52 gsm Tomoe River paper with Montblanc JFK Navy Blue ink. This nib on this pen will make for a fantastic workhorse pen that'll add attractive flair to one's writing.
RESTORATION SERVICES
This vintage Waterman Stalwart fountain pen has been cleaned and tested for function (filling and writing). It is READY TO WRITE upon filling with standard fountain pen ink.
A NEW 100% Silicone ink sac
has been cut to the right length and installed with talcum powder (dry lubricant). This will prevent degradation to the vintage celluloid which is damaged by the sulfuric gases released by the ossification of aging latex ink sacs.

Beyond making sure that the pens I restore write, I like to make sure they
write well. Using a loupe, premium micro-abrasives, and when necessary, specially made nib repair tools each nib is carefully adjusted to provide an enjoyable writing experience based on the particular characteristics of the nib. This classic Waterman Taperite pen is an absolute delight to write with.
The Waterman Stalwart fountain pen has been cleaned. The pen has been disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and conservatively polished.
