This buckle has been made from an the exact specification of the original design and it even includes the "STURDY" stamp.
In the last photo you can see a side by side comparison to the original in which you can not tell the difference.
You will receive 12" of the webbing with a pre-sewn loop, the other end will be left open to allow install on wire lugs and also allow you to cut length as you see fit. You Will also receive (2) 5/8" x 5/8" squares of permanent fabric adhesive tape. This is so you can apply the buckle to the end. It is strong enough so you don't need to sew in the buckle, but if your are going to wear it, it can be used in conjunction with sewing making it easier to stitch and less chance of coming loose.
The original clasps are extremely hard to come by and when they come around they bring in some big bucks. I am the first ever to offer reproduction khaki bands and I look to join the ranks with David Boettcher and the Prairie Flower Co. who are well known for their leather repro straps. These are perfect for completing that Trench Watch you have sitting in your display case without breaking the bank, or adding value to a watch you are looking to sell.
